Manchester City and Inter Milan meet on Saturday evening in the UEFA Champions League final. The highly-anticipated fixture at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium will see Manchester City try and complete the last leg of a famous treble while Coppa Italia winners, Inter Milan are chasing a cup double of their own. Road to Istanbul

Manchester City remain unbeaten in this season's Champions League. Pep Guardiola's side have lived up to their billing as pre-tournament favourites by defeating so real European heavyweights en route to the final. City topped their group ahead of Borussia Dortmund, subsequent Europa League winner, Sevilla and FC Copenhagen.

Manchester City drew each away leg in their three knockout rounds but progressed thanks to their superb home form. At the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City produced emphatic wins against RB Leipzig (7-0), Bayern Munich (3-0) and Real Madrid (4-0).

Inter Milan's progress to Saturday's final was far less convincing. The Italians lost twice in the group stage as they finished eight points adrift of group winners, Bayern Munich.

An 86th minute Romelu Lukaku goal in the first leg of their round of 16 tie against Porto proved decisive as they progressed 1-0 on aggregate. In the quarter-final, they were 5-3 winners over two legs against Benfica. That result would've looked far more convincing if Benfica hadn't scored two late goals in the second leg tie at the San Siro.

Inter Milan's iconic San Siro stadium staged both legs of their semi-final as they met fierce city rivals, AC Milan. Inter Milan won both legs to claim a 3-0 aggregate win.

Betting Tips

Champions League Golden Boot winner in waiting, Erling Haaland has scored an impressive twelve goals already in this season's competition and will prove incredibly popular in all goal scorer markets. Haaland has 52 goals in all competitions this season and is 4/7 to add to that tally by scoring at any time on Saturday. Alternatively, Haaland is 2/1 to score first in Istanbul.

However, Erling Haaland has not scored in any of Manchester City's last five matches and only has one in eight in all competitions. Whilst we're not writing off the Norwegian phenomenon, we do feel there could be some real value elsewhere. In that same eight match period, Ilkay Gundogan has scored six times. The German international scored both goals in last weekend's FA Cup final and seems overpriced at 11/4 to score at any time against Inter Milan.

Additionally, no player has received more yellow cards in this season's Champions League than Ilkay Gundogan. Despite committing just six fouls throughout the tournament, Gundogan has been booked four times. Gundogan is a huge 9/2 to be carded in Saturday's UEFA Champions League final.

Whilst we expect Manchester City to claim that elusive first Champions League title on Saturday, it will not be as straightforward as many are expecting. Each of the last three Champions League finals have ended 1-0 and Manchester City to win 1-0 is not the worst bet at 6/1.
