Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will finally meet in the ring this weekend with the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia set to host this hugely-anticipated cruiserweight bout. Ahead of what promises to be one of the biggest boxing events of the year so far, you'll find everything you need to know about the upcoming bout here at freebets.ltd.uk. In addition to the latest fight news and predictions, we provide the best odds and free bet offers from our betting partners at DAZN Bet.

Third Time Lucky

Jake Paul versus Tommy Fury has been a long time in the making having been postponed not once but twice previously. Their first scheduled bout in December 2021 was cancelled after Tommy Fury suffered a broken rib in training before their second fight collapsed after Fury was denied entry into the USA last summer.

Boxing Record

As a pro, Jake Paul boasts a perfect 6-0 record but is yet to fight an established professional boxer. Paul claimed a first round knockout win over fellow YouTuber, AnEsonGib in January 2020 before defeating former NBA star, Nate Robinson later that year.

Paul then started to eye opponents with a proven track record in combat sports. Former Bellator and ONE welterweight world champion, Ben Askren was KO'd in round one of their bout before former UFC champ, Tyron Woodley was defeated on a split decision. Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley met for a second time when Woodley stepped in to replace Tommy Fury in December 2021 and Paul claimed a sixth round KO.

Jake Paul's biggest win to date came in his most recent fight as he claimed a unanimous points win over UFC all-time great, Anderson Silva. The former UFC middleweight champion has already defeated former WBC middleweight champion, Julio César Chávez in the boxing ring and despite his advancing years, Silva was expected to defeat Jake Paul. However, it was Jake Paul that emerged victorious.

Tommy Fury also boasts a perfect record as a professional boxer but like Jake Paul, there are question marks over the calibre of opponents he's faced up to now. Fury's first four opponents possessed a record of just 12 wins and 166 losses between them.

Fury took a brief hiatus from boxing to take part in reality TV show, Love Island but having returned to the ring he has now forged a 8-0 professional boxing record.

Betting Tips

Sunday's intriguing match is between a celebrity who wants to be a boxer and a boxer who wants to be a celebrity. There are suggestions that Jake Paul takes the game far more seriously than Tommy Fury and as a result, he is the current bookies' favourite.

However, Tommy Fury has been boxing most of his life and comes from a family with a proud boxing heritage. Tommy Fury regularly spars with his brother and heavyweight world champion, Tyson Fury so will certainly be able to handle the punching power of former Disney Channel personality, Jake Paul. We believe Paul's best chance of a win would be a points decision if the fight goes the distance. Jake Paul to win on points is available at 2/1.

We believe that Fury will win on Sunday evening and whilst he is excellent value at 13/10 to win, we'd opt for a Fury stoppage at 16/5. Tommy Fury is likely to be the aggressor on Sunday evening and could record an early stoppage. Fury is 11/2 to win in rounds 1-4 whilst we're not opposed to backing a first round stoppage at 33/1.
