The second day of the Cheltenham Festival serves up seven more hugely-anticipated races, including another three Grade 1s. As we scan Wednesday's seven races, here at freebets.ltd.uk we've picked out some of the exciting entries that we think could make their mark on this year's Festival. Free bets and race odds come from our betting partners at BoyleSports.

Our belief is that Wednesday could be a day for the favourites and Impaire Et Passe is a well-fancied favourite in the day's opening race; the Grade 1 Ballymore Novices' Hurdle. However, on this occasion, we're going to oppose the market leader and instead get behind his stablemate, Gaelic Warrior. The Willie Mullins-trained five-year-old was short-headed by Brazil in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at last year's Festival but has won three successive races since. Now stepping up in trip, Gaelic Warrior could again be a big player back at Cheltenham.

One favourite we won't be opposing is Gerri Colombe in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase. Gerri Colombe has landed back-to-back Grade 1 novices and remains unbeaten with seven wins from seven under rules. Only concern is that he's never raced at Cheltenham but we're clutching at straws there, Gerri Colombe is our NAP of the day.

The feature race on day two is the Queen Mother Champion Chase. The market suggests this could be a two-horse race fought out between Edwardstone and Energumene. Edwardstone gets the nod ahead of last year's winner, Energumene. The Tingle Creek winner won last year's Arkle and could just have the edge.

Edwardstone finished ahead of Energumene in the Clarence House Chase last time out however in the midst of their own personal battle, both were overturned by race winner, Editeur Du Gite.

Editeur Du Gite also landed the Desert Orchid Chase when Edwardstone unseated his rider and has solid each-way claims.

Delta Work was booed as he crossed the line in first place in last year's Cross Country Chase but that was more down to the popularity of stablemate, Tiger Roll who was beaten into second. If Delta Work wins again it'll be a far more popular than in 2022. Long-term Tiger Roll jockey, Keith Donoghue takes the Delta Work saddle this year and he could clinch yet another Festival win.
